Found inside of the I465 loop in the Greater Indianapolis Metropolitan area. Beech Grove, Indiana is a town whose residents have a proud sense of history and a bright future. Resting on 4.3 square miles in Marion County, Beech grove was incorporated in 1906. The population reached 14,192 people as of the 2010 United States Census.

This residential area is proud of its efforts to maintain and improve itself. A multi-million dollar revitalization project known as the Better Brighter Beech Grove Project is currently underway and expected to provide big dividends to the area. This eight part project involves plans for the natural beauty of the city's parks and recreation areas, improvement of the roadways and transportation systems, advancements in the availability of technology for all residents, and the repurposing of commercial properties to increase their availability and profitability.

However, these efforts are not intended to take away from the historic charm of Beech Grove. The Benedict Inn, a multi-use facility containing a pool and gymnasium, is ran by the local Our Lady of Grace Monastery of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict. Beech Grove is also home to St. Francis Hospital and health Centers. A medical facility started in 1914 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration. There are also a number of other churches whose roots go back to the beginning of the 20th century.
The city also has its own school district consisting of five public schools. Two more private schools are also available, allowing  the city to offer a number of options to serve students from Kindergarten through high school. The University of Indianapolis also provides students the opportunity to attend a top tier Midwest university within in four miles of their front door.
